Tuesday nights
7:00-8:15 pm Dances focusing on foundational, popular, and easy-to-learn dances, with some repetition as the weeks go on. If we are having a new dancer class, regular dancers will act as 'angels' to fill out the set and help the newcomers.
8:15-8:30 pm Tea break
8:30-9:45 pm More challenging dances
You are welcome to dance the whole night, of course, arrive at the start and leave when you need, or arrive later and stay to the end.
We are offering a 6 week 'new dancer class' through the Ridgewood Community School, beginning March 3, 2026; for more information see our New Dancer page.
FEES
Single Class:
$10 for RSCDS-NJ members
$12 for non-members
Series of 9 Classes (includes party nights):
$80 when paid in advance.
RSCDS and NJ Branch Membership:
$50 Single membership
$90 Joint membership
(2 people residing at the same address)
$17 Associate membership
(must already belong to another RSCDS branch).

Your membership dues make possible teacher training, dancer education programs, dance publications, and all the organizational activities that keep Scottish Country Dancing such a pleasure to participate in.

DIRECTIONS TO THE HO-HO-KUS CLASS
- By car from NJ Route 17 (N or S):
- Take the Hollywood Avenue exit. Head west until the second light and turn left at Sheridan Ave. After about a quarter mile, turn left onto Warren Ave (immediately after the Fire Station on the left). The church is on the right at next the intersection
- From Manhattan on public transportation:
- NJ Transit Rail Main/Bergen County Line runs from the PATH Station in Hoboken to Ho-Ho-Kus, about a half mile walk from the church.
- The Short Line Bus Company runs buses from Port Authority in Manhattan to Ho-Ho-Kus. Check the schedule carefully; some buses stop in downtown Ho-Ho-Kus about a block from the church; all of them stop at the Ridgewood Park and Ride about a mile from the church; you may be able to arrange a ride with another dancer.
